How to Build a K-Beauty Routine for Combination Skin in Morocco

Combination skin is the most common skin type in Morocco. Oily on the T-zone, dry on the cheeks — it requires a balanced approach that K-Beauty has perfected.

Step 1: Double Cleansing

In the evening, start with a cleansing oil to dissolve makeup and sunscreen, then follow with a gentle foaming cleanser. In the morning, a single cleanser is enough.

Step 2: Hydrating Toner

Forget alcohol-based astringent toners. K-Beauty favors hydrating toners that prepare the skin to absorb the following treatments. Look for formulations with hyaluronic acid or centella.

Step 3: Targeted Serum

This is where you address your specific concerns. For combination skin: niacinamide regulates sebum while hydrating. Snail mucin essence (like COSRX Snail 96) repairs and hydrates without weighing down the skin.

Step 4: Moisturizer

Choose a light gel cream for the Moroccan summer, and a richer cream for winter. Apply by gently patting, not rubbing.

Step 5: Sun Protection

Non-negotiable in Morocco. Use SPF 50+ PA++++ every day, even in winter. Korean sunscreens are lightweight and leave no white cast — perfect for combination and darker skin tones.

Our Recommendations

Start simple: cleanser + toner + serum + moisturizer + SPF. Add steps gradually. Consistency is more important than the number of products.
